Compromise be damned
The vote for the condo-conversion bill, with support from various stakeholders, did not come to be. Frank Chopp, Speaker of the House, wouldn’t allow the bill to come to the floor for a vote, per the PI. Apparently, it didn’t make the cut off date to pass legislation.
